The problem
Streaming apps live or die on discovery and playback continuity — if recommendations feel generic and the player resets every time you navigate, users bounce.
What we built
We built a Keystone + GraphQL backend to power Gemini-driven content recommendations, paired with a persistent global player that survives navigation, user playlists, and a Trending feed ranked by real play counts instead of static curation.
Result
A streaming app where AI recommendations, playback, and trending content all run off one consistent GraphQL data layer — no dead-ends between browsing and listening.
